Over the past two months Freedom Harbor has shown a phenomenal growth in its membership. Because of the nature of this growth being organic with absolutely no aggressive campaigning, it is understood this is only a hint of what is to come. This means there will soon be a performance hit with the increased traffic and activity on the site.
I want to be proactive and anticipate this performance lag by upgrading the site’s server location. So between today and tomorrow, Sunday and Monday, the 29th and 30th of August, 2010, you may experience a temporary disruption in service as you explore FH. I wanted to provide a courtesy post for you so you understood what is happening with the site.
I have seriously considered moving the site to a location in Switzerland or Norway. But for now, Freedom Harbor will remain deep in the heart of Texas.
